The projectioneering approach on Project Management, Project Development, Feasibility Studies and Strategic Projects

Value for money is a cornerstone of the approach that projectioneering takes in delivering its services and projects. As such, projectioneering maintains a lean, low overhead structure that allows it to minimise unnecessary costs to the client without sacrificing important skills and attributes.

One of the key steps in effective project management, particularly infrastructure projects, is a comprehensive and practical Project Management Plan (PMP). This is a core strength of the approach projectioneering takes to project management. The PMP is a fundamental tool in delivering the optimal result and requires knowledgeable and careful preparation and consultation.

The PMP is not just about basic principles such as time, cost and staffing, but delves deeper into essential day-to-day elements like reporting, commercial aspects, risk assessment and mitigation, quality, standards, sustainability and reviews. Audit schedules, contract elements and integrating all of the deliverables are essential in ensuring optimal project outcomes.

In addition to its base in NSW, projectioneering also has use of office facilities in Perth and Suva, Fiji to streamline its operations across a broad geography.  This lets us effectively deliver services for extended periods over a much greater range of territory.

In order to also facilitate a broader network of resources, projectioneering is allied with a range of other similar, like-minded specialist consultancies to provide a more comprehensive offering and extend the geographical reach. This lets projectioneering have an office presence in other cities (Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne) at negligible cost whilst having other specialist skills on tap. These skills include specialised areas such as:

  • Thermal power engineering
  • Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
  • Small scale (up to 30 MW) power generation and co-generation equipment supply
  • Climate Change management and adaptation strategies
  • Project funding
  • SCADA, protection systems and power system analysis
  • Carbon management strategies
  • Full development approvals and EIA's

Assignments undertaken by projectioneering can be in the form of:

  • Fee-for-service consulting on agreed hourly, daily or weekly rates
  • Retainer for fixed hours per period for reviews, watching brief, regular reports, etc
  • Short, medium and long-term contracting assignments
